DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI & CHECK IN AT NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL

You will be picked at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and you will be transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel. You will check in, have dinner, relax and enjoy the hotel amenities. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.

DAY 2: FULL DAY IN NAIROBI

Start your morning with a luxurious breakfast at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Next, head to Nairobi National Park for a game drive. Here you get to spot lions, giraffes, and rhinos with the city skyline in the background. By late morning, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see orphaned baby elephants during their playful mud bath session. Thereafter, you will head to Giraffe Centre where you can feed and interact with the endangered Rothschild giraffes up close.

For lunch, you will enjoy the famous grilled meats at Carnivore Restaurant 1:00 PM to try traditional Kenyan dishes. In the afternoon, visit the Bomas of Kenya for vibrant cultural performances showcasing Kenya’s diverse communities.

Wrap up your day with a delightful dinner and overnight at the Nairobi Serena known for its cozy ambiance and fusion cuisine.

DAY 3: NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA

Depart Nairobi at 6:00 AM, stopping at the scenic Great Rift Valley for a quick photo break. After a brief stop in Narok for lunch, arrive at Maasai Mara by 1:00 PM and check into your lodge. At 3:30 PM, head out for an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, elephants, and giraffes. End the day with dinner at Mara Serena Safari Lodge and a Maasai cultural performance by the campfire. DAY 4: FULL-DAY SAFARI & CULTURAL VISIT

Start with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM, then enjoy breakfast before a full-day safari exploring the savanna. Witness herds of wildebeest and zebras. At 1:00 PM, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, followed by a visit to a Maasai village at 3:00 PM to learn about their traditions. Wrap up the day with dinner at Mara Serena Lodge and relaxation. DAY 5: MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAIVASHA RESORT

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara for Naivasha at around 10:00 AM and arrive at Lake Naivasha Resort approximately at 2:00 PM. This award-winning retreat offers a blend of relaxation, culture, and adventure. Upon arrival, check in and unwind before enjoying dinner and the resort’s amenities.

DAY 6: JOURNEY TO AMBOSELI & FIRST SAFARI

After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM at the resort, depart for Amboseli National Park, a scenic 5.5-hour drive through Kenya’s diverse landscapes. As you approach Amboseli, the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa comes into view, creating a breathtaking backdrop. Arriving at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge around 12:30 PM, check in and enjoy a delicious lunch before settling into the lodge’s Maasai-inspired ambiance.

At 3:30 PM, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll witness Amboseli’s famous large elephant herds, along with zebras, giraffes, and predators like lions and cheetahs. The park’s swamps provide a unique contrast to the dry plains, attracting hippos and a variety of bird species. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner at 7:00 PM, followed by a peaceful evening soaking in the stunning views of Kilimanjaro.

DAY 7: FULL-DAY SAFARI & CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

For an unforgettable experience, you can opt for a game drive or a hot air balloon safari for an extra cost in Amboseli on Departing before sunrise at 5:30 AM, you float above the park, witnessing the golden sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro and spotting elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife from above.

At 12:30 PM, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, visit the Maasai village at 3:00 PM, where you’ll learn about their traditions, daily life, and participate in their famous jumping dance. This cultural experience provides insight into the Maasai’s deep connection to the land and wildlife conservation. Return to the lodge by 6:00 PM for a delicious dinner at 7:00 PM. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge offers unique experiences such as guided nature walks, birding safaris, and Maasai cultural lectures, ensuring a well-rounded stay.

DAY 8: JOURNEY TO MOMBASA & BEACHSIDE RELAXATION

After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, depart for Emali SGR Station, arriving in time for the mid-morning train to Mombasa. The journey takes approximately 6 hours, offering scenic views of Tsavo’s vast landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at Mombasa SGR Terminus around 2:30 PM, transfer to Serena Beach Resort & Spa, a luxurious coastal retreat located along the pristine Shanzu Beach.

After checking in, take time to unwind by the beach, enjoying the resort’s tranquil atmosphere. At 4:30 PM you check into your rooms to freshen up and to rejuvenate after the journey. As the evening sets in, enjoy a sunset walk along the beach, followed by a delicious dinner at 7:00 PM. Overnight at Serena Beach Resort.

DAY 9: EXPLORING MOMBASA & COASTAL ADVENTURES

Start the day with a relaxing breakfast at 8:00 AM, then head out for a guided tour of Mombasa’s Old Town at 9:30 AM, where you’ll explore historic streets and Swahili architecture thereafter return to the resort for a beachside lunch, savoring local delicacies.

In the afternoon, you can relax at the resort and enjoy the infinity pool.

As the day winds down, take in the sunset views at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner at 7:30 PM, celebrating the coastal beauty and serenity of Mombasa. Overnight at Serena Beach Resort and Spa.

DAY 10: RETURN TO NAIROBI AND DROP OFF AT JKIA

After breakfast at 8:00 AM at Serena Beach Resort & Spa, you will check out and transfer to Moi International Airport in Mombasa, arriving by 9:30 AM. Upon arrival, they will complete check-in procedures for their mid-morning flight to Nairobi, which takes approximately 1 hour.

At 11:30 AM, the flight lands at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi. You will proceed to baggage claim and exit the terminal, where they will be met by their designated transfer service. The drop-off at JKIA marks the conclusion of your incredible journey.
