ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Start your journey with a warm welcome from Afrisun Tours and Travel in Arusha and a detailed safari briefing before heading west through the Great Rift Valley to the legendary Serengeti National Park. This scenic 6-hour drive introduces you to Tanzania’s countryside vibrant villages, rolling hills, and endless horizons. After a lunch stop, you’ll enter Serengeti for your first game drive in the Central region, where acacia-dotted plains are alive with wildlife. Look out for zebras, lions, elephants and if you’re lucky, a leopard. Settle in at Seronera Camp for dinner and an evening under the stars.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Awaken to the sounds of nature and prepare for an exhilarating full day safari in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, head out with a packed picnic lunch to explore the park’s vast ecosystem. Follow the path of the famed wildebeest migration (seasonal), search for the Big Five, and visit the Grumeti River home to crocodiles and hippos. Enjoy your lunch in a designated bush area and continue exploring until sunset. Return to camp for a well-deserved dinner and rest.

DAY 3: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, take a final game drive across Serengeti’s plains ideal for spotting early-morning predators or grazing herds. Around midday, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge ($35 per person), an archaeological site rich in human history.
