4-Day Savannah To The Highlands, A Magical Safari Spell
Samburu and Nanyuki offer a perfect blend of wild adventure and serene highlands. Nestled in northern Kenya, Samburu National Reserve is a semi-arid haven known for its dramatic landscapes and rare wildlife, the Samburu special five: the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, the Beisa Oryx and the Somali Ostrich. Game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River reveal elephants, lions and vibrant birdlife. Nanyuki on the other hand, lies south of Samburu, a picturesque town at the foot of Mt. Kenya. It’s the gateway to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where visitors can see the Big Five, meet Baraka the blind rhino and visit the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya.
