DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy your first night in the heart of the capital before beginning your national park adventure.

DAY 2: NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK & CITY HIGHLIGHTS

After breakfast, your safari begins with a visit to Nairobi National Park, a one of a kind wildlife haven just minutes from the city center. Here, you can spot lions, rhinos, zebras, and giraffes roaming freely against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline  a surreal fusion of nature and city life. After the game drive, visit the Giraffe Centre to feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes and learn about their conservation. Next, stop at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, home to orphaned baby elephants. Enjoy a hearty lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before returning to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 3: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Nairobi and drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The scenic drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, where you’ll pause for panoramic views, and then through highlands and traditional Maasai lands. After checking in at your lodge and enjoying lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the vast Mara plains in search of lions, elephants, and other incredible wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: FULL DAY IN MAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

Rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Maasai Mara National Park, when animals are most active and the lighting is perfect for photography. This is the best time to witness lions returning from their night hunts, elephants in motion, and possibly cheetahs on the prowl. Return to camp for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive with a chance to see wildebeest, zebras, and the elusive leopard. Cap off your day with a magical sundowner experience in the wilderness, enjoying the peaceful savannah as the sun sets.

DAY 5: MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a renowned national park celebrated for its scenic beauty and remarkable birdlife. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. This park is a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, and it’s famous for its pink flamingos along the lakeshore. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, and even tree-climbing lions. Overnight stay in Nakuru.

DAY 6: NAKURU TO NAIROBI – END OF NATIONAL PARK ADVENTURE

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy the lush landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, pass by Lake Naivasha, and soak in the views of farmland, acacia-dotted plains, and bustling roadside towns. Depending on your arrival time in Nairobi, you may have the option for a short city tour or some last-minute shopping before your transfer to the airport or your next destination. As your journey ends, you’ll carry with you unforgettable memories from Kenya’s premier national parks, where wildlife, culture, and scenery blend into a once-in-a-lifetime African safari.
