8-Day Signature Safari Adventure
At the heart of Kenya’s allure is its world renowned wildlife. The country is home to iconic national parks and reserves such as the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo, Samburu, and Lake Nakuru, where visitors can witness the Big Five alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and the incredible Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Kenya also plays a key role in global conservation efforts and is home to the only remaining northern white rhinos at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI & CHECK IN AT PRIDE INN AZURE NAIROBI
You will be picked at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by a Van where you will be transferred to Pride Inn Azure. You will check in, have dinner, relax and enjoy the hotel amenities. Overnight at Pride Inn Azure.
Day 2: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU
Depart Nairobi at around 10:00 AM and head to Samburu, approximately a 7hour drive. You will travel through Kenya’s central highlands, stopping at the equator in Nanyuki to have a lunch en route. Arrive at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge and check in. Settle in and enjoy the hotel amenities. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
DAY 3: EXPLORE SAMBURU
Start with a sunrise game drive in Samburu National Reserve. You can opt for a bush breakfast at an extra cost or head back to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Spend the afternoon at leisure or on a nature walk along the Ewaso Nyiro River. End the day with sundowners which is at an extra cost at a scenic viewpoint and dinner back at the lodge. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
DAY 4: SAMBURU TO LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, check out and travel south via Thomson’s Falls to Lake Nakuru, approximately a 6hours drive. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge for lunch, then enjoy an evening game at Lake Nakuru National Park with sightings of rhinos, flamingos, and giraffes. Dinner is served at the lodge with lake views. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Begin the day with an early morning game drive and then come back to the lodge for breakfast or opt for a picnic dinner by the lake at an extra cost, where flamingos shimmer in the morning light. Later, take a short- guided birdwatching walk with a naturalist or unwind at the lodge. In the afternoon, you may opt for a private high tea at Baboon Cliff, an elevated experience available at an additional cost. The evening wraps up with a Swahili cooking demo and a lantern-lit dinner beneath the stars. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
DAY 6: LAKE NAKURU TO AMBOSELI
After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Lodge, depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi and Emali. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and the changing landscapes as you descend into the southern plains. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp in the late afternoon, your tented suite awaits with views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. After settling in, enjoy a relaxed evening with dinner under canvas and a crackling campfire beneath the stars.
DAY 7: AMBOSELI – ELEPHANTS, VIEWS & CULTURAL HERITAGE
Begin with a sunrise game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, famous for large elephant herds and dramatic views of Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro is said to be the largest Mountain in Africa. Return to camp for breakfast, then relax by the pool or visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience (optional, at extra cost). After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive through the marshlands and acacia woodlands. As the sun sets, you can opt for a sundowner an unforgettable experience (at an additional cost) with Mt. Kilimanjaro as your backdrop, followed by dinner and storytelling around the fire.
DAY 8: AMBOSELI TO NAIROBI
Enjoy a final early morning game drive and thereafter a leisurely breakfast at camp. Check out and begin your return journey back to Nairobi. You will have lunch en-route and arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Your driver-guide will drop you off at Pride Inn Azure where you will settle in, relax and enjoy the hotel amenities marking the end of an unforgettable safari circuit through Kenya’s most iconic landscapes. Dinner and Overnight at Pride Inn Azure.
