Early Morning Game Drive at Nairobi National Park

Your adventure begins at the break of dawn, when the savannah comes alive. Depart from your hotel at 6:00 AM and head straight into Nairobi National Park  a one of a kind wildlife haven just a short drive from the city center.

As the sun rises over the city skyline, you’ll witness a breathtaking contrast: lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo roaming freely, with skyscrapers in the distance. The early morning is the best time for game viewing, as predators are still active and the landscape is bathed in golden light  perfect for photography. Our professional Afrisun guide will navigate through the park’s trails, sharing expert insights about the ecosystem, the animals, and the conservation efforts that keep this urban sanctuary thriving.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

After your game drive, we head to the nearby the Elephant Orphanage  open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM  to watch rescued baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud. It’s a heartwarming glimpse into Kenya’s wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

Visit to the Giraffe Centre

After your game drive, we head to the nearby Giraffe Centre, a beautiful retreat nestled in the leafy suburb of Karen. Here, you’ll get up close and personal with the endangered Rothschild giraffes, known for their gentle nature and striking patterns.

Stand on the elevated platform and enjoy the once in a lifetime experience of feeding a giraffe by hand or even getting a “giraffe kiss” if you’re feeling adventurous! The center offers informative displays on giraffe conservation, making it both fun and educational  a great stop for all ages.

Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant

After a thrilling morning of wildlife and conservation, it’s time to indulge in one of Nairobi’s most iconic dining experiences  Carnivore Restaurant.

Set in lush gardens, Carnivore is a true feast for meat lovers. You’ll be treated to a unique all you can eat BBQ experience, where sizzling skewers of exotic meats like ostrich, crocodile, and camel are brought to your table by sword-wielding servers. Prefer something more traditional? They also serve a variety of classic Kenyan and international dishes to suit every taste.

Cap off your meal with their famous Dawa cocktail, a refreshing Kenyan favorite, and unwind as you soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Return to Hotel / Drop-Off

After lunch, we’ll provide a comfortable transfer back to your hotel or preferred drop-off location, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Kenya’s wildlife, culture, and cuisine  all in a single day.
