ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Mombasa: Coastal Welcome
Arrive in Mombasa in the evening, where you’ll be warmly greeted by your professional driver guide for the Aberdare National Par and escorted to your coastal accommodation. Whether you choose the vibrant shores of Diani Beach or the conveniently located Nyali Beach, your safari begins with comfort and care. After check in, enjoy a light welcome dinner, soak in the ocean breeze, and unwind in preparation for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
After an early breakfast, head inland to Tsavo East National Park, famous for its vast red soil plains and iconic “red elephants.” Arrive mid morning, check in at your lodge or camp, and enjoy lunch before setting out on your first game drive. Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Tsavo East
Begin with a sunrise game drive, the best time for predator sightings. Return for breakfast, then continue exploring key wildlife areas such as Aruba Dam. Choose between a bush picnic or a lodge lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. End with sundowners before dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East to Aberdare National Park Safari
After breakfast, journey north to Aberdare National Park Safari, a lush highland retreat known for misty forests, waterfalls, and unique wildlife. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at a famous tree lodge such as The Ark or Treetops, designed to overlook floodlit waterholes where elephants, buffalos, and sometimes leopards gather. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay as you watch wildlife right from the lodge balcony.

Day 5: Aberdare to Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast in the cool mountain air, descend into the Great Rift Valley en route to the Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, then embark on your first game drive across the Mara plains, spotting elephants, lions, and possibly cheetahs. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.

Day 6: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Spend the day discovering the wonders of the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Track the Big Five and witness the dramatic life of the savannah. Optional activities include visiting a Maasai village or experiencing a breathtaking hot air balloon safari. Dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Mombasa via Nairobi: Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast before departing the Mara. Travel by road to Nairobi and connect to your domestic flight to Mombasa. Upon arrival, connect to your international flight home or extend your stay at the beach for more relaxation ending your Aberdare National Park Safari.
