Stunning 3-Day Tsavo East National Park Air Safari

Tsavo East National Park, established in April 1948, holds the distinction of being one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks, covering an expansive area of approximately 13,747 square kilometers. Located in the southeastern part of Kenya, Tsavo East forms part of the greater Tsavo Conservation Area alongside Tsavo West, and together, they create one of the largest protected wilderness areas in the world.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 – NAIROBI TO TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Your adventure begins with an early morning check in at Wilson Airport for a breathtaking light aircraft flight to the wild landscapes of Tsavo East National Park. As you soar over Kenya’s countryside, enjoy sweeping aerial views before landing at the airstrip inside Tsavo East. You’ll be welcomed by our friendly team from Afrisun Tours and Travel and transferred to Voi Wildlife Lodge, a spectacular lodge. After a sumptuous lunch, set out for your first game drive inside Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red dusted elephants, vast open plains, and diverse wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner, and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 2 – FULL-DAY SAFARI IN TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early to the magical African sunrise and head out for a morning game drive. This park is one of the oldest and largest in Kenya, home to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and a rich variety of bird species. Afrisun Tours and Travel ensures your safari experience is perfectly paced, allowing for incredible photo opportunities and moments of quiet awe in nature. Return to Voi Wildlife Lodge for breakfast, then enjoy some leisure time with stunning views. In the afternoon, set out again into the Park for more wildlife encounters before returning to the lodge for a starlit dinner.

DAY 3 – FINAL SAFARI & FLIGHT BACK TO NAIROBI
On your final morning, choose between a short game drive in Tsavo East National Park or a guided nature walk to spot smaller wildlife and learn about the area’s flora and conservation efforts. After breakfast at Voi Wildlife, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. By midday, you’ll be back in the city with your heart full of memories, stunning photographs, and the satisfaction of having explored one of Africa’s most legendary safari destinations with Afrisun Tours and Travel.
